Hi. My name is Rosanna and I am the Owner and Lead Coordinator at Rosanna Catapano Event Design. Never would this former high school English teacher and mom of four have imagine that this is what I would be doing as a career, but that’s the beautiful thing about life–it’s filled with all sorts of unexpected surprises!
As a wedding coordinator and event planner, I’ve been able to hone my passion for helping clients create truly fantastic experiences for their guests for over seven years. Although my love of organization and planning are what allow my business to thrive, it’s my love of people that truly sets me apart. When I work with clients, I treat them like family–with a lot of love, a lot of respect, and a lot of laughter. I’m the kind of girl who isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty, I’m a team-player, and a problem-solver. There is nothing more satisfying than knowing that my services allow my clients the ability to enjoy and be present in some of the most memorable days of their lives.
So what really makes my heart hum? I have an amazing husband, Jordan. He was my high school sweetheart and we have been married for 15 years. We have spirited crew of four kids together and live a fantastic little town with our sweet dog, Stella. I love to cook, eat tacos, tend to my menagerie of plants, drink Margaritas & Prosecco, and work out. And when I’m not coordinating a wedding or event, I’m probably watching one of our kids play sports or hanging out with friends.
Chances are that if I am coordinating your event, Amanda will be my plus one as a coordination assistant. But, when we have two weddings booked on the same day (Hello 2021!) Amanda is now also stepping in to the role of a Lead Coordinator.
Amanda officially joined the RCED team in 2017. After getting to know her personally, I had a hunch that her personality and work-ethic might be the perfect fit for adding her to the team. From her very first event, she proved to be 100% heart and 200% hustle! She’s kind, courteous, intuitive, and trustworthy. All of my clients continue to rave about her, and those that use me for events annually request for her to be a part of their special days. Amanda has become an invaluable part of RCED and it’s success.
When she’s not helping coordinate an event, Amanda is currently homeschooling her four kids and holding down the fort while her husband serves in Cuba. She’s a Chicago girl through and through. A Cubs fan who enjoys a nice bourbon and isn’t afraid to call it like it is.
