Five and a half years ago, someone asked me to design and coordinate an event for them, and, unknowingly, that was the start of Rosanna Catapano Event Design! Creating events and working with clients to make their ideas come alive excite and energize me. I can’t imagine doing anything else.
When I’m not planning an event or coordinating a wedding, you can find me working out, reading, or watching my kids play sports. And I cook and feed people, a lot.
I’m a lover of pretty coffee mugs, fresh flowers, and telling it like it is. Although some might say I’m a little old-fashioned, like any good Italian girl, sitting around the table sharing a meal with family and friends truly is my favorite thing. I am married to the most amazing man, who continues to challenge me to go after my dreams. Together, we have four amazing children who keep us on our toes and make life very full, very exciting, and very loud.

About My Work
I excel in concept development and execution. I love thinking outside the box to come up with something unique. I like unexpected décor and like including small, but detailed style elements that can really help tie an event together. I’m detail oriented and very organized. Just ask anyone! On the day of an event, I always love surprising clients with a little something extra that we haven’t talked about just to add some “wow”.
I do a LOT of kids’ parties and I love it! It’s been my niche from the very beginning of RCED. I love being able to come up with and create a lot of fun decor. Each little detail is so carefully planned and executed and often times requires quite a bit of planning and crafting. It’s all in the details and I really enjoy the challenge of it.
One thing I hear over and over again from clients and vendors is how “nice” and “down to Earth” I am. My job is to work with everyone to ensure a successful event, and for me, that means rolling up my sleeves, getting my hands dirty, and being a team player. And it’s easy to be nice when you LOVE what you do!
I’m a deal shopper and bargain hunter, so I am always looking to get clients’ the most bang for their buck. Why pay more if you don’t have to? My pricing is fair and I work as many hours needed to make each event perfect!
Four hands are always better than two so if you see me at an event, I usually have an assistant or intern with me. It’s been empowering and refreshing to bring in team members to help build my business. My assistant Amanda is truly amazing and so many of my clients have loved meeting and working with her! I love teaching others about what I have learned, how I think, and what it takes to pull off a successful event of all kinds.
Being a part of clients’ milestones and moments is amazing . I feel honored to work with so many great people who allow me to create something special with them for family and friends.
